Football

Football was introduced to India in the pre-independence era during the British rule. India has a rich history in football and is home to the third oldest football tournament in the world which is the Durand Cup. India has come leaps and bounds in the sport and currently the Indian men’s football team has attained a world ranking of 96 which is it’s best ranking for the past 21 years. Football is now widely considered the second sport of India.

The Coach Crew will be conducting a football workshop where the participants will be taught the fundamentals of the sport such as ball control, dribbling, passing and shooting. We aim to organize a fun and engaging workshop open to all where the motive will be to learn football skills while having a good time!

The Coach Crew is an online sports startup that allows users to connect with the best sports coaches around them, allowing them to choose from over 450+ coaches and academies across 14+ sports. Built on a vision to create the largest community of sports coaches and redefine the way sports are played in India, the platform (www.thecoachcrew.com) ensures that everyone has the opportunity to play any sport they wish to and get the right training for it. Using technology, the platform aims to go deeper into the player-coach training ecosystem to provide the technology and tools used to grow coaching businesses and provide value to every enthusiast turning into an athlete.

Leveraging the growing coach community, The Coach Crew also works with institutional bodies such as Schools, Corporates and NGO’s to provide great sporting experiences and tailor made coaching programs across various verticals.
